Jerome Miskell is an associate professor of music technology at Mount Union College where he instructs courses in technology, musicianship, and strings. He has been creating web-based music course resources since 1997. He founded Music Learning Resources in 2005 to create innovative online music courses. He is an accomplished web page, image, sound, and music animation designer, QuickTime developer, and JavaScript programmer.
An active musician, Dr. Miskell has performed with the Akron Symphony since 1989 and numerous other orchestras, chamber ensembles, and musical productions, including two Cleveland stops of the Plant/Page tour in front of 20,000 screaming fans at Gund Arena.
